The Forge Candlestick is based on a traditional candlestick typology. The form references historical designs featuring an integrated “ear” or ring, originally used to carry the light from place to place.
In this reinterpretation, the functional detail is retained but simplified. The ring is reduced to a clear, sculptural element, allowing the object to remain legible as a candlestick while emphasizing form, proportion, and material.
