Valeria Vasi is a Moscow-born designer based in Barcelona whose practice sits at the intersection of art, design, and contemporary craftsmanship. Trained in fashion, she transitioned into design through a growing interest in material research and artisanal processes, developing a practice grounded in direct engagement with matter and making.

Her work is rooted in close collaboration with local artisans, forming an ongoing exchange in which each project becomes a site of shared learning and experimentation. Working primarily with iron, wood, and stainless steel, as well as glass and ceramics, Valeria approaches materials not as fixed mediums but as evolving systems—each with its own constraints, possibilities, and modes of expression. Every project expands this material vocabulary, allowing her practice to evolve through the introduction of new techniques and forms of production.
