The BLOCK cabinet is built around proportion and weight. A wooden volume rests on two solid marble blocks — not as ornament, but as structure. The stone carries the mass; the wood defines the space. The relationship is direct and intentional.
The form is reduced to essentials. A clear rectangular body, precise edges, no superfluous gesture. Inside, the shelves are set back from the frame, creating a subtle shadow line and a sense of depth. This small displacement alters the perception of the whole — the cabinet feels lighter than its volume suggests.
Material contrast is central to the piece. Marble introduces permanence and gravity; wood brings warmth and tactility. Together, they establish balance without symmetry, presence without excess.
