We collaborate with designers whose practices blur the boundary between furniture and sculpture. Many of the works in this collection are produced in limited quantities and often handcrafted, allowing process, variation, and material character to remain part of the finished piece.

Rather than treating storage as secondary furniture, these designers approach cabinets, credenzas, and shelving as architectural elements.

The Storage category includes designer sideboards, sculptural credenzas, and bespoke cabinets that function as both storage and spatial anchors. These pieces are often used to ground a room providing structure, balance, and visual clarity.

Each cabinet or sideboard is designed to be collected, not replaced.

Beyond standalone cabinets, the collection includes shelving and integrated storage systems designed to interact directly with architecture. These works explore rhythm, repetition, and proportion, offering custom storage solutions that feel intentional rather than added on.

Many of the storage pieces at The Orb are studio-made or handcrafted, with designers working closely alongside skilled craftspeople. Materials such as wood, stone, metal, and composite finishes are explored with care and restraint.

Subtle variation and tactile qualities are embraced, reinforcing the sense that each piece has been made not manufactured.
