Fragua Desk embodies a refined sense of equilibrium. Its structure is defined by two stainless-steel plinths supporting a thin travertine top, a composition that unites monolithic presence with delicate balance. Minimalist yet brutalist, the desk reduces geometry to its essential form, creating an architecture of restraint and permanence.

The name Fragua—Spanish for “forge”—pays homage to the legacy of traditional metallurgical crafts. Rooted in an observational study of the elemental relationship between earth and fire, Fragua becomes a portal where raw material is transfigured into sculptural form through fire, process, and artisanship.

Siete is a design studio based in Mexico City and Australia, dedicated to creating sculptural, spatial, and functional pieces that forge a direct and distinctive connection with their users.

"We are committed to pushing the boundaries of materiality, craftsmanship, conceptualization, and spatial experience. Each piece carries a story—shaped not only by its design, concept, and geometry but also by the very materials from which it is born. Founded in 2020 by Gerardo Córdova, Alexa Fernández, and Diego Escobedo, Siete embodies a dialogue between innovation and tradition, seeking permanence in a world of transience.
