The Drone Sofa Chair combines minimalist geometry with tactile warmth, offering a refined balance between comfort and structure. Designed in 2024 by artist Jakub Kubica and handcrafted in his atelier near Berlin, each piece is part of a numbered limited collection.

The sculptural metal frame is hand-polished and finished with natural beeswax, protecting the surface from fingerprints while allowing a soft, evolving patina to form over time. The modular design enables flexible arrangements—individual pieces can be combined to create larger seating compositions, such as a double-seater sofa.

Each chair features individually selected full-grain, vegetable-tanned leather hides sourced from Tuscany, Italy. The calf leather is dyed through, wax-finished, and gently tumbled to achieve a supple texture. Over time, it matures gracefully, developing a rich, organic patina that enhances the chair’s timeless character.
