The Maker

Estudio Persona

Los Angeles, United States

South American Creatives, Planting Seeds in the Los Angeles Sun

Founded by Emiliana Gonzalez and Jessie Young, Estudio Persona is a Los Angeles–based design studio known for its sculptural restraint and quiet sensuality. Rooted in the designers’ Uruguayan heritage, their work explores natural materials, organic forms, and the beauty of contrast — soft and hard, light and shadow, feminine and austere. Each piece embodies a language of minimalism imbued with emotion, reflecting an intuitive balance between art, design, and the human experience.

Lighting

BOW Floor Lamp €3,496

The BOW Floor Lamp is a sculptural lighting piece defined by balance, line, and restraint. Its slender structure traces a continuous gesture in space, ending in a softly diffused light that feels both precise and atmospheric. The curved arm introduces a sense of movement, while the grounded base anchors the piece with quiet stability.

Designed to live comfortably in both domestic and architectural settings, the BOW Floor Lamp functions as light and presence—equally considered when illuminated or at rest. Minimal yet expressive, it reveals its character through proportion, material, and the subtle dialogue between form and light.
