An Exploration of Form through Sensitivity, Intention, and the Pursuit of Beauty
“Presence. That can be basically called “love”. We live in times where our time and attention are stolen from us. If through my designs I can create a moment of surprise, happiness, pause or connection that brings about presence, I have achieved my goal.”

Masand is a padded bench inspired by traditional Indian floor cushions, from which the piece takes its name. Soft volumes are composed into a modular form that can be reconfigured, allowing the bench to transform into a chaise longue with ease.
Resting on a restrained structural base, the generous upholstery emphasizes comfort while celebrating craft and tactility. Decorative spheres punctuate the edges, acting as both functional connectors and subtle ornamental details. Masand sits at the intersection of cultural reference and contemporary design—an object defined by flexibility, presence, and quiet richness.
