Born in Lisbon, The Orb exists both physically and digitally as a place where contemporary design moves beyond display and into dialogue — between makers, artists, and collectors.
Founded by Alejandra Albarran and Ricardo Gayle, The Orb grew from a shared passion for design into a platform that celebrates objects and the stories that give them meaning.
The Orb is a meeting ground for contemporary collectible design — a place to discover artists, connect with makers, and commission bespoke pieces that carry their stories forward.
With its first gallery opening in Lisbon in 2026, The Orb will mark a new chapter in the city’s design scene — becoming a hub for creativity, exchange, and community.
