Thirty-two openings are cut using waterjet technology. No material is added; the object is produced entirely from the original slab. Through these perforations, the solid mass gains a sense of transparency. The top and bottom surfaces are finely sanded, while the edges and openings retain the raw traces of the waterjet process.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-end=\"639\" data-start=\"442\"\u003eIn this process, ornament and function are inseparable.
